Welcome to SAPLinGS 2022! Join us for more Science, Art and PLay in Garden Spaces beginning January 12, 2022 at San Diego Botanic Garden. We’ll have all your favorites including Model Trains, Tales and Tunes, and new activities galore. Help us garden in our Incredible Edibles Garden, learn cool science, and make art. Then play in Toni’s Treehouse, make music, and splash in our mountain stream!

Art & Science Activities in Hamilton Children’s Garden
Each month we focus on a different plant or nature-based theme. Science activities engage kids with cool science and hands-on learning that stimulates curiosity. Art activities focus on the process with open ended projects that spark the imagination.

Garden Time in the Incredible Edibles Garden
Please join us in the Incredible Edibles Garden to plant, water, weed, and all the other activities that keep a garden, well, incredible! Plus we explore seasonal happenings in the garden from seed to fruit, insects, decomposers, and more.

Toddler Tales & Tunes in Hamilton Children’s Garden
Grandma Kathy has been teaching and entertaining children and families at SDBG for many years. She uses puppets, bells, pompoms, and much more to connect children to plants and nature in the beautiful outdoor setting at the top deck of Hamilton Children’s Garden.
