Common Name: Ribbon Bush
Growth Habit: An evergreen perennial originally found in South Africa, the Ribbon Bush has lush green foliage and can grow from 2’ to 4’ tall.
Cultural Requirements: This plant prefers light shade but can tolerate full sun near the coast. It needs fairly regular watering and can tolerate temperatures down to about 20 degrees Fahrenheit. It can be propagated by seeds or cuttings.
Features/Uses: The Ribbon Bush works well in border plantings and can attract butterflies into your garden. Beautiful light purple flowers are profuse when in bloom and the petals curl like a ribbon which gives it its name.
