Common Name: Firespike
Growth Habit: This is an evergreen semi-woody shrub that can grow to 6 feet tall and wide.
Cultural Requirements: The Red Firespike can take some morning sun but prefers bright filtered sun to shade. It can die back if frost prevails but will bounce back in the spring.
Features/Uses: Bright red tubular flowers are produced in numbers and will attract hummingbirds and butterflies. It is also attractive when used in mixed planting beds.
