San Diego Botanic Garden is San Diego County’s location of choice for your uniquely picturesque and
memorable outdoor wedding or reception.

With a mild year-round climate, the Garden offers a variety of garden settings for your event, from our large Gazebo Lawn Garden to our intimate Waterfall View Deck and secluded Walled or Lawn House Gardens.

Wedding Locations

	The Victorian Gazebo Lawn Located in the center of the Gardens, this area features a beautiful large lawn framed by borders of flowering plants and mature trees. The focal point is our elegant Gazebo, the perfect backdrop for your wedding. The Victorian Gazebo Lawn is available for daytime ceremonies and evening weddings and receptions. 	The Walled Garden An intimate location enclosed within a lovely original adobe and tile wall and surrounded by lush ferns and trees. The ambiance is enhanced by both the large Mexican Fountain and the historic Larabee House, which opens into the Walled Garden and is included in the rental price. 	Lawn House Garden A multi-level yard backing up to the Palm Canyon Rainforest. The tropical backdrop and soothing waterfall create a perfect setting for daytime weddings, parties, showers and memorials as well as evening cocktail receptions. 	The Waterfall View Deck Located in the upper, more secluded area of the Gardens and overlooking a three-story waterfall, the Deck is surrounded by palm trees and exotic tropical plants. This site is the most popular for a small ceremony as well as a great choice for group photos. Available for daytime ceremonies. See Photographs Capacity Ceremony: 30 Seated
