Free Admission to Active Duty Military
May 1 to September 3, 2012
Thanks to the generous support of Frances Hamilton White, the San Diego Botanic Garden will once again participate in the Blue Star Museums program of the National Endowment for the Arts. Active duty military and their families (card carrier + 5) will have free admission to the Garden from May 1st through September 3th, 2012. Additionally, Frances will again underwrite discounted memberships during the month of September. Frances has always been supportive of the active duty military. Back in 2007, she encouraged the Garden to invite them on Valentines Day. Since then, SDBG has had a policy allowing active duty military and their immediate families to visit the Garden at no charge on every patriotic holiday. We thank Frances for supporting the Garden in this worthy effort.
